Remote Learning
Since March 2020, schools have faced an unprecedented challenge: how to safeguard the education of children and young people amid the disruption inflicted by the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, education, and the way learning is delivered, has changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise of remote learning, which has been a big part of the school’s response. This involves delivering learning into the homes of those pupils who are unable to attend school as a direct result of the ongoing pandemic, and comprises a mixture of web-based activities, hard copies of learning materials, and live lessons delivered from teachers direct to the pupils in their own home.
