Staff Wellbeing

At New Park Academy, we are committed to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing to all students, their families and members of staff and school advisors and providing a safe, secure and supportive environment for all members of staff.

We recognise that staff wellbeing is important to pupil achievement and the school’s performance. We are committed to making sure that the school’s Wellbeing Policy is implemented so that each individual is able to cope successfully with the demands in their lives, whatever the cause of their stress.  Wellbeing champions are Karen Seymour and Yahna Pemberton at the high school, and Nicola Webster at the juniors, supported by a team of staff who rotate regularly.
