On the 21st May 2019, New Park Academy staff and pupils made a presentation at the Worsley Rotary Club, Dragons Den event.  Mrs Bever-Warren gave a timed 5 minute speech to the 'Dragons' (an ex-head teacher, a director of nursing and a Bishop) to convince them to support New Park's 4th Educational trip to Poland.  On each occasion the Rotary Club has supported the school with funds towards the activity.

New Park pupils, Terence, Mason, Ryan & Tyler attended the event and displayed a picture and information board about previous trips to an audience of over 100 community individuals.

At the end of the evening, the Dragons presented New Park with a cheque for £500.00 which will contribute a large amount of the monies to be raised for the 10 students and 3 staff who will be travelling.

As a school we will continue to fundraise and build on the £500 to make this education trip to Auschwitz and Krakow in June 2020 a memorable and rewarding experience
